The 26th September 2011, on the eve of Fashion Week, takes place in Paris the first ever social media conference entirely dedicated to fashion and luxury. The most powerful thought leaders in the industry will meet at FLOW.  There, blogs, social networks, e-commerce websites and brands will introduce and question the role of social media in fashion, beauty and luxury while reflecting on the challenges of the future.  The conference is intended to be both informative and participative with the objective to provide participants with the reflexes required to meet the challenges of the social web.

Key influencers from the blogosphere (including Coolhunting, High Snobiety and Bloglovin’) will meet with brands like Diesel to discuss how to engage in successful collaborations. Major e-commerce websites in the sector such as Born and Giltwill carry on the debate, presenting social and content-related shopping solutions. The event will close with a focus on social networks, both established actors (Facebook) and emerging platforms (Hypeed, Fashism).

FLOW is an invitation to explore the ever-changing world of social media within the fashion and luxury industry alongside those who helped create it. The programme will address three key themes: the relationship between blogs and brands, the impact of communities on e-commerce websites and how to build a pertinent media strategy on social networks. FLOW is organised by Ykone, a company specialized in editing fashion websites. Recognized authorities on social fashion and digital strategy, the Ykone team have long held a privileged relationship with the main influencers in « 2.0 » luxury. Four men are behind FLOW : Olivier Billon, CEO of  Ykone, Gaël Duval, a leading Internet entrepreneur and co-founder of  jechange.fr, Jean-Christophe Chopin, founder of Born.com and Davy Ea, Associate Director of Mazarine Digital .
